Hello and Welcome!
Getting here has been a journey, indeed! I am happy we all here and I can now share the projects I worked on in November and December. Mr. B and I have done a bit of traveling. We traveled to Colorado, to visit our youngest son and his family, in November. We spent Christmas in Eastern Washington to celebrate the Holiday with our parents.
Here are a few things I created for gifts:
I made this pillow for my youngest son's birthday. He loves Halloween. The applique pieces were cut out with my Cricut Maker. I machine appliqued the pillow top.I stitched a few beads on this pillow. The moon is outlined with silver lined glass beads and black Bicorne beads are sewn onto the tips of the fence posts and the peak of the house.
This sweet Raggedy Ann sitting on a cake and holding a Cupcake was made for my daughter-in-law's birthday in November.
Here is a sister to the Raggedy Ann. She is holding a strawberry and sitting on a cupcake.
This Snow Angel's dress has tiny white stripes. Both dresses are trimmed with vintage lace, The wings cut were from a vintage chenille bedspread, I purchased on Ebay several years ago.
This handsome snowfella stands four feet tall and is adorned with a wreath and a nest for feathered friends. His coat is decorated with snowflake buttons. The pine trees and cabin are painted wood cutouts. Mr. B, drilled holes into the cutouts turning them into large buttons, which have been sewn onto the coat. His head is a large floral pick from Hobby Lobby, purchased two years ago. I stitched the neck of the coat to the base of the head using the Ladder Stitch. It was Mr. B's idea to use the purchased head. What a good idea! It saved me several hours as I was having troubles with the directions for the head. What I came up with didn't resemble a snowman's head at all! Do you ever have a project's directions not turn out right? I hate it when that happens. It messes everything up.
We have exciting plans for 2022. We will be starting a YouTube Channel. I received all the light equipment for my birthday. We will let you know when we go live.
Until next time,
Remember to take time to do a little stitching every day,
Kathy

Love the idea of the YouTube Channel! I have all the light equipment too...but no time, space, or energy to do videos yet...perhaps this is the year for both of us to get moving on projects. HUGS!
Kathy, Thank you for your encouragement. I have a challenge with space as well. I just need to just my craft room cleaned and organized. But first I need to finish the seams and get them in the mail, which will be done in a few days.
Stay Well!
Your Stitching Buddy,
KathyLynn
