Graduation Quilts
My mom started a tradition of making each grandchild a quilt which was given when the grandchild graduated from High School. Now it's my turn. I'm working on two quilts for my two seniors.
This quilt is Grandson Ray's quilt. He chose Navy blue and dark red for his quilt's colors. I added a few different shades of red and blue to add interest and to give the eye a rest from dark colors.
This quilt is granddaughter Lana's quilt. She graduated last year. I'm late in finishing her quilt. Her favorite colors are pink and navy blue. Here again I have added different shades of pink and blue. I chose polka dots and florals just for fun.
I will keep my progress posted so you can see how the quilts turned out. Until then,
Remember to sew a little bit each day!
